A BRADFORD man has been jailed for a raft of shop thefts.

James Murray, 32, of Landscove Avenue, has been jailed for a total of 44 weeks for 22 offences.

He pleaded guilty to all charges when he appeared at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on October 20, 2021.

Murray was jailed for 14 days for each of the following offences, which will run consecutively:

  • For stealing two Oral B toothbrushes, worth £89.99, from Lloyds Pharmacy, Birkenshaw Health Centre, Bradford, on September 15, 2021.
  • For stealing shaving foam, shampoo and deodorants, worth a total of £72, from Lloyds Pharmacy, Birkenshaw Health Centre, Bradford, on September 15, 2021.
  • For stealing shampoo and deodorants, worth a total of £99.10, from Lloyds Pharmacy, Birkenshaw Health Centre, Bradford, on September 20, 2021.
  • For stealing cosmetic items, worth a total of £100, from Lloyds Pharmacy, Birkenshaw Health Centre, Bradford, on September 27, 2021.
  • For stealing cosmetics, worth a total of £189.83, from Lloyds Pharmacy, Birkenshaw Health Centre, Bradford, on October 1, 2021.
  • For stealing chocolate, value unknown, from Co-Op, Birkenshaw, on October 6, 2021.
  • For stealing foodstuffs, worth £60, from Farmfoods, Bradford, on October 9, 2021.
  • For stealing foodstuffs, worth £60, from Farmfoods, Bradford, on October 11, 2021.
  • For stealing selection boxes, worth £45, from Farmfoods, Bradford, on October 13, 2021.
  • He stole meat, worth £40, from Co-Op, Bradford Road, Birkenshaw, on October 13, 2021.
  • Murray stole chocolate, worth £30, from Farmfoods, Bradford, on October 16, 2021.

  • He stole chocolate, worth £50, from Co-op, Bradford Road, Birkenshaw, on August 8, 2021. He was also ordered to pay a £156 victim surcharge.
