A BRADFORD man has appeared in court charged with possession of cocaine and driving while disqualified.
Robert Padgett, 23, of Meadow Bank, was given a community order for possession of a class A drug, cocaine. He was found in possession of four small bags of cocaine at Street Record, Kirkgate, Shipley, on June 1, 2021.
The terms of the community order included Padgett given a rehabilitation activity requirement and must complete 100 hours unpaid work in the community over the next 12 months.
He was also convicted for driving whilst disqualified, at Street Record, Kirkgate, Shipley, on June 1, 2021.
Padgett was disqualified from driving for 24 months, a community order was made under the same terms as the above offence, he was ordered to pay a £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Padgett pleaded guilty to both charges at an earlier hearing and was convicted when he appeared at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on October 13, 2021.
