HERE is a list of people who have been slapped with fines or driving penalty points for speeding on Bradford's M606 motorway.

Information published by magistrates’ courts in Bradford, has revealed drivers convicted for speeding on the motorway's section which has a 50mph limit and were clocked by the speed camera positioned there.

Here are the names of six people who have appeared at magistrates' court in Bradford over the last three weeks for speeding on motorways.

Some of them are from the Bradford district caught speeding on the M606 and from other areas of the country.

  • Gaynor Traynor, 61, of Gallaber Park, Gallaber, Long Preston, Skipton, was given six driving licence points, fined £293 and ordered to pay £90 costs for exceeding a 50mph speed restriction on a special road/motorway, at 74mph, at the M606 southbound 150 yards south of the slip to Chainbar roundabout, on April 29, 2021.
  • Mohamed Maju, 42, of Moss Bank Way, Bolton, was given six driving licence points, fined £440, ordered to pay £90 costs and a £44 victim surcharge for exceeding a 50mph speed restriction on a special road/motorway, at 74mph, at the M606 southbound 150 yards south of the slip to Chainbar roundabout, on April 29, 2021.
  • Ayman Ahmed, 21, of Fairfield Road, Bradford, was given three driving licence points for exceeding a 50mph speed restriction on a special road/motorway, at 65mph, at the M606 southbound 150 yards south of the slip to Chainbar roundabout, on November 13, 2020.
  • Koisor Uddin, 52, of Whitworth Road, Rochdale, was fined £45, ordered to pay £90 costs and a £34 victim surcharge for exceeding a 50mph speed restriction on a special road/motorway, at 59mph, at the M606 southbound 150 yards south of the slip to Chainbar roundabout, on February 12, 2021.
  • Michael Crowe, 50, of Norfolk Avenue, Denton, Greater Manchester, was given three licence points, fined £146, ordered to pay £90 costs and a £34 victim surcharge for exceeding a 50mph speed restriction on a special road/motorway, at 58mph, at the M606 southbound 150 yards south of the slip to Chainbar roundabout, on April 28, 2021.
  • Jamie Shepherd, 24, of Country Mews, Blackburn, Blackburn With Darwen, was given three driving licence points, fined £84, ordered to pay £90 costs and a £34 victim surcharge for exceeding a 50mph speed restriction on a special road/motorway, at 58mph, at the M606 southbound 150 yards south of the slip to Chainbar roundabout, on December 8, 2020.
