A balloon release is taking place in memory of Tayab Akram, 10
A BALLOON release is taking place tonight at Nelson's Boxing Academy in Walker Terrace, Bradford, in memory of its young member, Tayyab Akram, 10, who died yesterday (Tuesday).
Tayyab had been hit by a vehicle in Wakefield Road Wednesday evening, October 13, but did not recover from his injuries despite the heroic effort of medical staff at Leeds General Infirmary.
The boxing club has arranged for members to go along in their red and gold coloured boxing kit and release balloons at 7pm to remember Tayyab who the club described as 'the heart and soul of our gym'.
