A NUMBER of people have been hit with fines at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court for breaching Covid-19 rules.

The cases have only came to court earlier this month, but date back to January this year.

  • Raheem Bashir, 20, of Bardsey Crescent, Bradford, was fined £90, ordered to pay £110 costs and a £34 victim surcharge for being a person living in tier 4 area, leave/were outside of place where living, without reasonable excuse, in Bradford, on January 29, 2021.
  • Joshua McAvan, 33, of Aberdeen Terrace, Clayton, Bradford, was fined £770, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £77 victim surcharge for participating in a gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/ indoors in tier 4 area, in Bradford, on March 19, 2021.
  • Craig Brennan, 36, of Sunbridge Road, Bradford, was fined £770, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £77 victim surcharge for being a person living in tier 4 area, leave/were outside of place where living, without reasonable excuse, in Bradford, on March 21, 2021.
  • Olivia Reid, 20, of Hendford Drive, Bradford, was fined £220, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge for participating in a gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/indoors in tier 4 area, in Bradford, on March 13, 2021.
  • Donna Reid, 39, of Clover Street, Bradford, was fined £220, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge for participating in a gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/indoors in tier 4 area, in Bradford, on March 13, 2021.
  • Stefan Szajko, 42, of Ladywell Close, Bradford, was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge for participating in a gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/indoors in tier 4 area, in Bradford, on March 13, 2021.
  • Armaan Hussain, 23, of Ellercroft Terrace, Bradford, was fined £220, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge for participating in a gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/indoors in tier 4 area, in Bradford, on March 11, 2021.
  • Amhar Ali, 19, of Arncliffe Terrace, Bradford, was fined £220 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge for participating in a gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/indoors in tier 4 area, in Bradford, on March 11, 2021.
