POLICE arrested a person on suspicion of drink-driving after a van reportedly collided with parked cars.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team - the force's dedicated initiative for tackling anti-social and dangerous driving - were called to an address in the Steeton area of Keighley overnight.
It was to reports of a "suspicious" van.
Police arrived at the location and discovered the van had disappeared.
Officers were told that the van had been in a crash with two parked cars, before being driven off.
The van was found a short distance away with "fresh damage".
Police arrested an individual on suspicion of drink-driving.
The Steerside Enforcement Team posted about the situation on Twitter.
The post said: "Steerside attend an address in Steeton, Keighley to a report of a suspicious van.
"On arrival we're told told the van has just hit two parked cars and driven off.
"Located a short distance away with fresh damage.
"One in the cells tonight for drink driving."
