A MAN has appeared in court for stealing chocolate from a Bradford district supermarket and possession of cannabis.
Cristi Conache, 43, of North Avenue, has been given a 12-month conditional discharge for stealing chocolate, worth £16.60, from Sainsbury’s, Cavendish Street, Keighley, on October 7, 2021.
He was also given the same sentence for a charge of going equipped for theft – not motor vehicle at the same time and location as the chocolate theft. The details of this charge were: not being at your place of abode, had with you an article for use in the course of, or in connection with, theft, namely a Lycra cycling jersey with shorts attached.
He was also sentenced for possession of a controlled class B drug, cannabis/cannabis resin in the same incident.
Conache pleaded guilty to all three offences and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on October 8, 2021.
