A MAN will appear in court today after being arrested for burglaries and thefts from vehicles in the Bradford district.
The man was arrested in the Wyke area yesterday in relation to burglaries and thefts from motor vehicle-related offending in Wyke village.
He was interviewed by police and, following advice from the Crown Prosecution Service, he was bailed for further enquiries, but kept for court for other offences.
The man will appear before magistrates this morning.
West Yorkshire Police’s Bradford South Facebook page posted about the incident, adding: “Police are working hard to combat this rise in theft offending and will keep you updated as and when we can.
“This now totals six arrests for these offences across Wyke and Wibsey and enquiries remain ongoing to bring those committing offences to justice and reduce the stress and upset being experienced by the good people of our communities.”
