ARMED officers were deployed to the scene of an assault involving a weapon in Bradford in the early hours of this morning.
At 2.17am, police first heard of the incident which happened on the Tong Park Industrial Estate in Baildon.
The officers found a man with head and facial injuries.
He was taken to hospital and the injuries were found not to be life threatening.
One man, who knew of the incident but did not wish to be named, told the T&A it had been a "really serious" incident and that the victim was "in a bad way in hospital."
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "At 2.17am today (Friday), police received a report of an assault involving a weapon on the Tong Park Industrial Estate.
"Armed officers were deployed to the scene and found a man with head and facial injuries.
"He was taken to hospital, where his injuries were found not to be life threatening.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
