A SIX-year-old mixed breed dog from Bradford has been named ‘Good Citizen’ in the regional heats for Scruffts, which took place at Tatton Park, Knutsford.
Mavis, owned by Katie Lee, won in the Good Citizen Dog Scheme category and was judged on character, health, personality and temperament with people and other dogs.
She will go on to compete in the semi-final stages hosted at the world’s most famous dog show, Crufts, which will be held at the NEC Birmingham in March 2022.
Mavis is one of four dogs who will compete in Scruffts Family Crossbreed Dog of the Year.
Owner Katie Lee said: “I’m very excited that my little Mavis is going to Crufts – she has come a very long way since we rescued her and she is an amazing little dog.”
