A BRADFORD MAN has appeared in court for stealing spirits from a city supermarket.
Anthony Ward, 54, of New Hey Road, was given a community order including carrying out 80 hours unpaid work in the community over the next 12 months for stealing spirits, worth £183.47, from Aldi in Bradford on July 11, 2021.
Ward was also ordered to pay £183.47 compensation and a £95 victim surcharge for the burglary other than dwelling – theft charge.
He pleaded guilty when he appeared at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on October 11, 2021.
