FIVE fire engines were called to a high rise buiding in the Bradford city centre tonight.
Although residents were seen on the street outside Landmark House, Broadway, the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed it was a false alarm.
Crews from Bradford, Shipley, Fairweather Green, Odsal and Stanningley fire stations were scrambled to scene at 7.54pm tonight.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "It was a false alarm due to cooking fumes."
