SIX fire crews, including three from Bradford, put out a fire at a scrapyard in Halifax today.
The West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service received multiple calls at around 2.48pm of three cars and three shipping containers on fire at the scrapyard on Boyne Street, Halifax.
Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and a ground monitor water unit to tackle the fire.
Bradford crews from Odsal, Cleckheaton and Fairweather Green fire stations, engines from Halifax and Illingworth, along with an aerial unit from Huddersfield all attended the scene.
The fire service also confirmed that a fire investigation officer is looking into the cause of the fire.
