POLICE have issued a further update following a city centre stabbing which left one young man dead and another fighting for his life.
Officers were called to John Street at 5.45am on Sunday where they found the two 19-year-olds with stab injuries.
Kian Tordoff, who has now been named officially by police, passed away a short time after officers arrived at the scene.
The second male, named locally as Matthew Lowther, remains in hospital, where his condition is now said to be stable.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team by calling 101, or using the 101 Live Chat facility on the West Yorkshire Police website, quoting crime reference 13210516983.
"Information can also be passed to independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
