A RECOVERY truck was seized after police officers discovered it had "many dangerous defects" - including NO handbrake.

West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit shared the photograph on Twitter.

The team said: "The recovery truck with no insurance and many dangerous defects including no handbrake.

"Vehicle seized and driver reported to court."

Someone asked: "What happens to the car on the back? Does that go to the compound as well and attract its own charges?"

And another person said: "Fingers crossed the legit recovery truck doesn't break down under the strain..."
