A MOTORWAY police officer was left mystified after he caught five drivers all going more than 20mph over the speed limit on the M62 over the weekend.
PC Martin Willis, known on social media as ‘Motorway Martin’, recorded drivers going 105mph, 101mph, 98mph (x2) and 92mph.
He tweeted: "I don't know what it is about some weekend drivers on the M62 but many really seem to struggle to control their right foot.
"Aside from the obvious road safety risks, points on licence and fines, fuel consumption is going to be pretty high at these speeds."
