TWO motorists have appeared in court charged with speeding at more than 100mph on a motorway in Bradford.
Rob Hussain, 42, of Gladstone Street, Bradford Moor, Bradford, was given six licence points, fined £440, ordered to pay £110 costs and a £44 victim surcharge for speeding - exceed 70 mph motorway limit - manned equipment on a motorway, namely M606 Junction 2 to M62 South, at a speed exceeding 70 miles per hour - 110 miles per hour, on October 11, 2020.
Hussain pled guilty when he appeared at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on September 30, 2021.
Meanwhile, Adam Bux, 27, of Downings, Beckton, London, was disqualified from driving for 28 days, fined £440, ordered to pay £620 costs and a £44 victim surcharge for speeding - exceed 70 mph motorway limit - manned equipment on a motorway, namely Bradford M606 southbound to M62 Eastbound junction 27, at a speed exceeding 70 miles per hour – 100 miles per hour, on August 8, 2020.
Bux pleaded not guilty at a hearing on May 20, 2021, but was found guilty at a hearing at Kirklees Magistrates’ Court on October 1, 2021.
