A BRADFORD man has been jailed for stealing coffee jars from a shop in the city.
Marc Skelly, 32, of Sandfield Road, was committed to prison for 14 days and ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge for stealing 12 coffee jars, worth a total of £71.88, from Enterprise 5 Retail Park, Bradford Road, Idle, on July 9, 2021.
He was jailed because the offence was deemed so serious due to the defendant’s record of previous offending.
Skelly pled guilty to the offence when he appeared at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on September 30, 2021.
