THE following temporary road closures in the district have been announced by Bradford Council:

* Chase Way, at the slip road from Rooley Lane, Bradford, for electrical works to be carried out.

Alternative routes for traffic will be available via Rooley lane, Mayo Avenue, Manchester Road, Mayo Avenue, Chase Way and vice versa.

The proposed order will come into effect at 9.30am on Friday, October15 until 6pm on October 25.

* The restriction of pedestrian use on public footpath no.69 (Ilkley) at Menston because of the likelihood of danger to the public.

The order comes into effect at 6pm on Monday, October 18 and will remain in force until 6pm on March 17, 2022. It will prohibit access on the length of the footpath from its junction with Derry Hill to its junction with Moor Lane.

Alternative routes for pedestrian access will be available via Derry Hill, Main Street, Moor Lane and vice versa.

* Hall Ings, Bradford city centre, for water works to be carried out.

Alternative routes for traffic affected will be available via Hall Ings (unaffected section), Manchester Road roundabout and vice versa.

The order will come into effect at 7pm on Wednesday, October 13 and remains in force until 11.30pm the same day.

* Hawber Cote Lane, Silsden, for construction works to be carried out.

The order will affect the length of Hawber Cote Lane from a point outside No. 5 to a point outside the new school. No diversion for vehicles is available. The proposed order will come into effect at 8.30am on Monday, October 18 until 6pm on October 29.

* Staithgate Lane, Bradford, for electrical works to be carried out.

The order will affect the length of Staithgate Lane from its junction with Staithgate Roundabout (Rooley Lane) to its junction with Dean Beck Avenue.

Alternative routes for traffic affected will be available via Staithgate Lane (unaffected section), Rooley Lane, Bierley Lane, Rockhill Lane, Wharfedale Road, Merrydale Road and vice versa. The order will come into effect between 8pm and 5am on Mondays to Fridays from Friday, October 15 until October 25.

* Rockhill Lane, Bierley, for lighting works proposed to be carried out. The order will affect the length of Rockhill Lane from its junction with Bieriey Lane to its junction with Wharfedale Road.

Alternative routes for traffic affected by the order will be available via Wharfedale Road, Merrydale Road, Staithgate Lane, Rooley Lane, Bieriey Lane and vice versa. The order will come into effect between 7pm on Monday, October 18 until 7am on October 22.

* Denholme Road, Oxenhope, for telecommunication works.

The order will affect the length of Denholme Road from a point outside No. 73 to its junction with Sykes Lane.

Alternative routes for traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Denholme Road (unaffected section), Station Road, Keighley Road, Hebden Road, Brow Top Road, Black Moor Road and vice versa.

The order will come into effect at 8am hours on October 20 until 6pm hours on October 21.
