KAYMellor’s hit show Fat Friends the Musical is returning to the Alhambra, starring Lee Mead.
The show, in Bradford from May 30 to June 4, 2022, also stars Sherrie Hewson and Les Dennis . Kay Mellor said: “I am thrilled with the amazing cast we have assembled for our second outing of Fat Friends The Musical. Sherrie Hewson and Les Dennis first worked together 40 years ago and are now reunited on stage.”
Since winning the BBC’s Any Dream Will Do, Lee Mead has starred in West End shows and in TV’s Casualty and Holby City. Sherrie Hewson was in Coronation Street and six series of Benidorm and Les Dennis most recently starred in Hairspray with Michael Ball in the West End. Fat Friends also stars Hollyoaks actress Jessica Ellis.
