POLICE are investigating after a fire at a cannabis farm in the Lidget Green area of Bradford this morning.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Officers were called to reports of a house fire in Stanmore Place, Bradford, at around 5.25am this morning.
"Upon arriving at the property, cannabis plants were discovered across several rooms in the property.
"No-one was in the property and the neighbouring houses were evacuated as a precaution while the fire was dealt with and the electrics were secured.
"Officers remain at the scene and enquiries are ongoing."
Two appliances from Bradford Fire Station and one from Fairweather Green extinguished the fire and made the property safe.
