IT'S not everyday you meet a famous pop star, but punters at a Bradford pub got a shock when One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson popped to watch the footie.
He was spotted at The Woodman pub on Manchester Road on Sunday night, leaving drinkers stunned.
The singer, who found fame on the X Factor, even helped Woodman Athletic football team celebrate their first county cup win with a race up Wibsey Bank.
Pub manager Gail Palmer said: "He had been to a wedding and popped in to watch football.
"Just a genuine lovely bloke, you would have thought he was just one of our customers."
In one video, Tomlinson says to the camera: "We're all Woodman aren't we?"
Others also described him as a "very down to earth guy".
It's not the first time the star has visited the city, where Louis' bandmate Zayn Malik hails from.
One Direction caused mayhem in Bradford city centre when they arrived for a signing at the HMV store on Broadway.
It was just weeks after the band came third on X Factor in December, 2010. They may not have won the show but One Direction went on to become the biggest boy band in the world.
It was a cold afternoon in January 2011 when the band came to HMV on Broadway for a signing and to meet fans.
Diehard 'Directioners' lined the streets, some queuing for hours to meet their pop heroes.
