A MOTOROBIKE rider has died after a late-night crash with a car.
West Yorkshire Police was called at 10.22pm on Saturday evening to a collision on Wrose Road.
It involved a motorcycle and car.
All emergency services rushed to the scene, including police, ambulance and the fire brigade.
But one of the riders of the motorbike died at the scene, according to a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police.
They added: "There was no police involvement prior to this time.
"The vehicle was not being pursued."
A police cordon was put in place, with the road closed in both directions until 6am this morning.
Police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with information that might help with their investigation.
