WHILE none of us likes being worried about filling up the car, there may be a plus side to the petrol shortage.
I would hope that all those people who own gigantic vehicles - so-called Chelsea tractors - might pause to wonder why they need a car that does two miles per gallon and won’t fill up for less than £1,000.
Maybe they will see sense and swap their monster vehicles for smaller, more economic, sensible cars, leaving the big 4x4s for people who really need them like Pennine hill farmers.
