PEOPLE are wanted to take part in a flash mob in Bradford this Friday.
Yorkshire Dance’s Dance On programme for over 55s - funded by Sport England - is presenting a special flash mob performance in City Park, Bradford on Friday to celebrate International Day of Older Persons.
Attenders will have the chance to dance with the Dance On group or come along as a spectator and enjoy one of the two performances.
They are asked to meet underneath the City Park sign (next to Cake’ole) at 12.30pm with performances at 1pm and 1.30pm.
International Day of Older Persons aims to recognise the contributions that adult people make to society and so Dance On’s unique performance will celebrate a range of abilities in dance and show how you are never too old or inexperienced to try something new.
Dance On participants across Braford have been rehearsing a short routine in their weekly classes however they are encouraging the general public to come along and join in with the festivities.
Participants don’t need to have any dance or performance experience to get involved and show off their moves.
People part in the flash mob are asked to wear purple if possible.
