A FIRE broke out in a Bradford flat this afternoon.
Fire crews from Shipley and Bradford were scrambled to the scene, on Oak Mount, Manningham, at 2.45pm.
A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said firefighters were confronted with a living room which was "fairly well involved" and heavily smoke-logged.
Four breathing apparatus and two hose reels were used at the scene.
The occupants of the flat were out at the time, but firefighters did rescue a rabbit from the property.
They were at the scene for around two-and-a-half hours.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
