A FIRE broke out in the basement of a cafe this afternoon.
Firefighters from Odsal, Fairweather Green and Halifax were called to the scene, on Wroe Place, Wyke, at 3.15pm.
The fire was in the basement and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus brought it under control with a hose reel.
A positive pressure ventilation van was also used to clear the smoke.
Firefighters from Odsal remain at the scene.
