THERE have been a further two Covid-19 deaths recorded in the Bradford district’s hospitals in the past few days.

Bradford Teaching Hospitals and Airedale NHS Foundation Trusts have both recorded one fatality each since Wednesday.

The death at Bradford occurred on September 20, while the death at Airedale occurred on August 31.

It means there have now been 981 Covid-19 hospital deaths in the district, 697 in Bradford, 282 at Airedale, and two at Bradford District Care Trust.

Nationally there have been a further 302 hospital deaths, taking England’s total death toll to 92,656.

Elsewhere in West Yorkshire since Wednesday, there have been eight more deaths in Leeds, four at Mid Yorkshire and one at Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Trusts.
