A 51-year-old man has been jailed for six months for attacking a police officer at Trafalgar House Police Station in Bradford.
Charanjit Singh, of Cliffe Terrace, Baildon, pleaded guilty to assaulting the police constable who was acting as an emergency worker by beating her on August 29.
He was jailed by Bradford and Keighley magistrates who took account of the fact that it was a deliberate assault on a public servant and Singh had a “flagrant disregard for people and their property” and the offence was aggravated by his record of previous offending.
