POLICE have threatened to scrap an e-scooter, worth £630, after its multiple offending rider ditched it before making off on foot.
Operation Steerside were in Keighley yesterday to spot the male up to no good.
He tried to get away on the scooter before ditching it.
Officers say he is welcome to claim his scooter back if he is willing to talk about the offences committed.
Rider made off from a Steerside officer in @WYP_Keighley - he didn’t get very far.. He ended up ditching the e-scooter & then made off on foot. If he wants his scooter back he can talk to us about the multiple offences committed or the £630 scooter will be scrapped. #Opsteerside pic.twitter.com/cuHGCMXBZR
