Leisure centre closes early due to 'incident'
A BRADFORD leisure centre closed early today following an "incident".
The Sedbergh Sports and Leisure Centre, on Cleckheaton Road, announced this afternoon it would be closed with "immediate effect".
The announcement said: "Due to an incident, the centre will now be closed with immediate effect for the rest of the day. Re open 23rd 6am
"We have tried to contact everyone with a booking or session this evening
"Sorry for any inconvenience caused."
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson confirmed they had been notified about a medical incident on Cleckheaton Road at around 3.45pm.
However, the spokesman said it was not a police matter.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service has been contacted for further details.
