A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving after an off-road motorcyclist died.
There was a crash at 6.29pm yesterday in Blackmoorfoot Road, in the Crosland Hill area of Huddersfield, close to its junction with Andrew Crescent.
It involved a Volkswagen Tiguan and a yellow Suzuki off-road motorbike.
The rider of the bike, a 23-year-old man from the area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers arrested the driver of the Tiguan, a 28-year-old man, on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The Major Collision Enquiry Team are investigating the crash and are appealing for anyone who witnessed this collision, or who has information, or footage, that may assist to contact them on 101 or using the reporting options on the West Yorkshire Police website.
