A FURTHER four deaths from Covid-19 have been recorded today at hospitals in the Bradford district.

Three of the fatalities occurred at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, while one one was seen at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.

Two of the deaths at Bradford occurred on September 18, with the other on September 19, while the death at Airedale happened on September 19.

It means that there have now been 979 hospital Covid deaths in the Bradford district since the pandemic began, with 696 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals, 281 at Airedale and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Nationally a further 174 Covid hospital deaths were recorded today, meaning the total death toll now stands at 92,354.

Elsewhere in West Yorkshire, five deaths were recorded at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS trust, two at Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, and three at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.

this means Leeds has now seen 1,034 deaths, there have been 1,108 deaths at Mid Yorkshire, and 561 fatalities at Calderdale and Huddersfield.
