A PLANNING committee will once again be urged to approve a controversial housing plan, despite a flooding report funded by objectors raising concerns over the scheme.
Last month Bradford Council's Regulatory and Appeals Committee met to decide on an application by Barratt Homes to built 69 homes of Westminster Drive, Clayton.
The decision was deferred after objectors referred to a report into flood risks they had commissioned, a report published the day before the meeting and one officers and the applicants had not been shown.

The application will go before the committee again at a meeting on Thursday.
But despite the new flooding report, officers will still recommend that members approve the application.
Officers have claimed many issues raised in the flood report commissioned by objectors are "incorrect."
Over 240 people had objected to the plans, with many of the objectors raising concerns that the development would increase flood risk in the area.
They said another Barrett development next to this site had led to flooding and damp problems in local homes.
But a report to the committee says neither the Council's flood officers nor Yorkshire Water have objected to the plans.
