The BMW that was clocked for doing 115mph on the motorway
A DRIVER, who was stopped for going 115mph on the motorway, said he was doing that speed because he needed the toilet.
PC Martin Willis - who is better known as Motorway Martin on Twitter - clocked the offending vehicle last night.
The blue BMW was speeding at almost 50mph over the limit on the M62.
PC Willis said: "I hear many excuses from drivers who I've stopped for exceeding the speed limit, a common one is needing the toilet.
"If indeed it's true, a person's ability to concentrate is going to be seriously affected by this. So travelling at this high speed is even more hazardous!"
