A man has been jailed for a number of offences including stealing £10.35 worth of goods from a B&M store.
Robert Alan Vyse, 42, from Calderdale, was jailed for 12 weeks for stealing a bottle of wine, some cans of cider, and a pack of Lenor tumble dryer sheets from a B&M store in Todmorden on July 7, 2021.
On the same day, Vyse attempted to damage a marked Peugeot police car to the value of under five thousand pounds belonging to West Yorkshire Police, with an intention to destroy the vehicle.
Vyse, of Halifax Road, Todmorden, pleaded guilty to the charge of theft, and the charge of attempting criminal damage to property valued under £5,000
On September 8, 2021, he was sentenced to a 12 week prison sentence at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court.
