A MAN was arrested in Bradford yesterday evening after being found with a "large quantity" of suspected Class A drugs.

Officers saw a Skoda being driven "at speed" in the Low Moor area, before the driver made off on foot.

Officers soon caught up with him, however, and he was then found to be in possession of the suspected drugs, as well as a quantity of cash.

He was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A, as well as on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.

Enquiries are ongoing, with the suspected drugs being sent to a lab for identification, police added.
