A FURTHER Bradford school has recorded positive Covid-19 cases, it has been confirmed.

Cases of the virus have been confirmed at Parkside School in Cullingworth, and Bradford Council said it is supporting the school in managing the outbreak.

One parent, whose children are at Parkside, said they had heard of more than 40 positive cases among students at the school.

They said the school had not informed them of the outbreak and wanted to be told about the situation, which feels “out of control”.

A Bradford Council spokesperson said: “The school has had some positive cases, and has measures in place to minimise the risk of infection spreading.

“We continue to provide support to schools all across the district at this difficult time.

“It’s important that we all work together to stop the spread of the virus. Any school children with symptoms should take a PCR test.

“If the test is positive they must isolate for 10 days. If the test is negative and they feel well, they should attend school.”
