THE second weekend of this year’s Saltaire Festival is under way ahead of an action-packed couple of days.
A continental street market, in Exhibition Road, has kicked off the second weekend, with visitors already converging on its stalls today for food and drink items among others.
A fun fair, near the Shipley Glen Tramway also opened today and will run until Sunday.
Events will be held across the village all weekend including a makers fair at Victoria Hall, picnic in the Park at Roberts Park and bandstand music at the same site.
The festival, back after a two-year absence due to the pandemic, has been running since last weekend when a open house event was held at locations around the village.
