THE first Bradford Free Market held last Saturday in the Bradford Central Mosque car park provided community hub for residents and stall holders.
With the mosque as a powerful backdrop, the market gave small, local businesses a chance to connect with customers and make sales.
Volunteer Bashir Lund said: βIt was fantastic to see so many people walking around the stalls and shopping for pleasure. We wanted to create a market which was a real community hub β a place to meet up and make friends, bring children and get a taste of local produce in the midst of our wonderful city of Bradford."
Volunteers are hoping to hold to organise another market in the near future.
