A MAN is to stand trial accused of fraudulently withdrawing more than £8,500.
Ajaz Latif, 39, of Wood Avenue in Heckmondwike, is charged with fraud by false representation.
It is alleged that, between March 31 and May 15 last year in Huddersfield, Latif dishonestly made a false representation to withdraw £8,525 from Nasim Akhtar, for his own gain.
The alleged offence is contrary to sections 1 and 2 of the Fraud Act 2006.
Latif appeared at Kirklees Magistrates' Court last Tuesday (September 7).
The case was sent to Leeds Crown Court by magistrates for trial by jury.
The trial is set for October 5.
Latif was given unconditional bail.
