CITY will unveil the Bradford Lifts Stand at tomorrow’s home game with Barrow.

The name of the Greengates-based business will appear on the Midland Road side of Valley Parade.

It is part of an improved partnership with the lift maintenance and installation firm.

A Bradford Lifts spokesperson said: “Since our incorporation in 2018, Bradford Lifts has concentrated on building connections with the city around us.

“Our ethos is to work with and support local businesses and organisations as much as we can.

“Bradford City AFC is an integral part of the city. We have been supporters for many years, so this step is an exciting one.

“We have fond memories of a busy and atmospheric stadium and, after the Covid pandemic and subsequent lockdowns, we believe now more than ever is the time to put our support behind the Bantams.

“To have the opportunity to sponsor the famous Midland Road Stand is an honour. Hopefully, it will hold many celebrations over the rest of the season and beyond.”

City’s commercial director, Davide Longo, said: “We are delighted to have got this deal over the line, and to be able to unveil The Bradford Lifts Stand.

“As a club, we have worked closely with Bradford Lifts for several years, so for them to be raising their backing of the Bantams is fantastic to see and speaks volumes of their ambition as a company.

“The Bradford Lifts branding looks great on the Midland Road Stand. We are proud to see it displayed and hope to see it there for years to come.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Michael Vanderstock, Jade McCabe and the team at Bradford Lifts for their fantastic support, and am looking forward to a new age of our partnership.”
