A CRASH involving a car and a taxi caused a road to close for three hours this morning.
Ilkley Road, in Otley, shut just after 9.08am due to the road traffic collision.
Queues of traffic formed in the surrounding areas of the road in the following hours.
Three people suffered minor injuries and one man was taken to hospital as a precaution.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Emergency services were called to reports of a road traffic collision in Ilkley Road, Otley, at around 9.08am on September 15, 2021.
"Two vehicles were involved, a car and a taxi.
"The three people involved suffered minor injuries and one man was taken to hospital as a precaution.
"The road was closed while recovery of the vehicles took place, it reopened at 12.08pm."
