A Netflix series is being filmed on Ilkley Moor this week.

From Monday September 13 until Friday September 17,  Netflix will be filming a new series called 'The Lark' on the Cow and Calf rocks in Ilkley.

However, some residents have raised concerns about access to the rocks and carpark during this time.

Councillor Green (Conservative, Ilkley) commented: " I fully understand residents' desire to continue to be able to access the Cow and Calf and if residents are having issues parking or accessing the moor please do contact me on email at kyle.green@bradford.gov.uk.

I am thrilled to once again see our incredible town being used for filming following a fantastic history of films and TV shows being set in Ilkley, including A Private Function, which starred Maggie Smith.

I sincerely hope that in the future the filming of The Lark will encourage people to visit Ilkley and bring more investment and revenue to local businesses.

I am happy to work with both the film crew and Bradford Council to ensure that residents are still able to access the moor."

When the Telegraph and Argus asked Netflix for a comment, James Davey, location manager said: "The shoot is made possible by arrangement with the Bradford Film Office, Council, and Natural England.

"We have been in contact with all the appropriate body's for the past three months and I've spoken with them today, they've come down for a set visit and they're happy with how it's all proceeding."
