POLICE have released an image of a man they would like to speak to after a woman was forced out of her car during a robbery last month.

At around 12.14am on 7 August, it was reported that an unknown man approached a woman who was sitting in her car, a Peugeot 107, outside McDonald's on Bradford Road, Five Lane Ends.

It was reported that the man threatened the woman with what is believed to have been a knife, forcing her out of the car. 

The man then drove off in the car towards Thorpe Edge.

The victim was unharmed in the incident, but was left shaken, police said.

The car was later found abandoned by a member of the public in an alleyway, around two miles away from the McDonald's.

Officers are keen to identify the person in the image, who they believe may be able to assist with enquires.
