THE police air support service in Yorkshire and the Humber and the North East has helped with more than 80 incidents in the past week.
NPAS (National Police Air Service) North East, which usually assists with forces across West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Humberside and the North East, tweeted this morning about its activities over the past seven days.
A spokesperson for NPAS North East said it had aided ground units in more than 80 incidents in that time.
This included helping out in cross-border areas (Lincolnshire and Lancashire).
The spokesperson said: "Too many outcomes to list but vital and cost saving support given to a wide range of jobs."
