A BRADFORD TV doctor says it is confusing over whether there is a need for a Covid booster vaccine.
Dr Amir Khan says it is important to find out if protection from two Covid vaccines will wane over time and whether a third, booster dose is needed.
He was responding to vaccine creator, Dame Sarah Gilbert, who says a Covid booster jab is unnecessary. Meanwhile, other reports suggest there is a large rise in protection from Covid booster jabs.

Speaking on today's Good Morning Britain, Dr Amir said: “It is confusing. In a way, they are both right.
“The scientific community is split over the need for a third dose, a booster dose, of the Covid vaccine.
"The question we need to ask when we are looking at booster doses is, does vaccine protection wane over time and is does a third dose help protection?
“Studies from the US, UK and Israel show as more time goers by after having a second dose, there is an increased risk of developing these breakthrough infections.”
