A CAR erupted into flames on a Bradford motorway this afternoon.
The vehicle was on fire on the northbound carriageway of the M606, between junction 1 (M62, Chain Bar) and junction 2 (Euroway Trading Estates).
It was first reported at 2.54pm, according to the AA.
Lane one (of three) was closed, while the blaze was dealt with.
Traffic was believed to be coping well and the situation was resolved at 6.33pm.
The T&A contacted West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service (WYFRS) and West Yorkshire Police for comment, but has received no response.
