EMERGENCY services were scrambled to the scene after a body was discovered in a car in a layby near Drighlington on Thursday.
A spokesperson for the West Yorkshire Police said: "Police were called to reports of concern for safety of a male on the A650, Drighlington, at 2.14pm yesterday.
"Officers attended and found the body of a male.
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a file has been prepared for the coroner."
