TWO brothers from West Yorkshire are hoping to raise £10,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association by walking 192 miles along Wainwright’s Coast to Coast Path.
Ian and David Roberts, from Leeds, will start their journey at St Bee’s, Cumbria tomorrow, and will finish at Robin Hood’s Bay on 20 September.
They are raising money for the MND Association in honour of their sister and regular walking partner, Pam Wood, who died from the disease in June 2020.
Ian said: "We’re really passionate about raising awareness and funding research into this devastating disease. We’re doing this walk in Pam’s memory, knowing that she would have loved to complete it with us."
